Really?

Another film festival?

Well, actually, yes. We think UK independent films and those who make them deserve to be celebrated. And besides, as 2018’s festival will be the third, we like to think we are now part of the regular festival circuit – even if we’re on the fringe.

And what’s our purpose? Simple:

• To champion UK independent films and filmmakers, especially those operating on more modest budgets
• To introduce our audience to varied examples of great UK independent cinema and, especially, to films that may be missed for want of multiplex or other mainstream distribution
• To enable UK independent filmmakers (whether they are starting out or well-established) to meet with each other and the public in convivial surroundings
• To ensure everyone has a great time
