The Fleapit Festival Café

The Fleapit Festival Café, run in the adjacent dining room by our professional caterers from The Courtyard in Westerham, will again be open throughout the Festival. They’ll be serving delicious, homemade hot meals, drinks, snacks, sandwiches, puds and cakes to Festival goers, filmmakers and friends. Several of our previous guest filmmakers commented that the food here is far better than anything they’ve ever been offered in LA…

The Fleapit Festival Bar

The Fleapit Festival Bar will also be open throughout, serving beer from Westerham Brewery, wine and soft drinks. Please note that, unlike the Café, the Bar will close briefly in-between one film ending and doors opening for the next to facilitate vital restocking and clearing up.

Ice Cream

You can’t have a film festival without ice cream, though, as we are screening all feature films without an interval, we’ll be selling them before and in-between screenings. Our supplier is Simply Ice Cream, a local independent producer based in Ashford who lovingly hand-make their ice cream from 100% natural ingredients. During the Festival, we’ll be serving a selection of flavours sufficient for you to enjoy a different one with every film.

And if you’re wondering if we sell popcorn – the answer is no! At the very first Fleapit screening (over 20 years ago) we did. Days later we were still trying to scrape it off the floor - a mistake we have no intention of repeating.
